My Guardian, through the My Guardian Foundation, is proud to partner with Disability Sports Australia for the Abilities Unleashed Kids event in Lake Macquarie. During a recent visit to the Philippines, Jad Haber and Diala Azzi Haber met with three families living in extremely vulnerable conditions to understand their daily challenges. Sitting with each family and seeing their homes firsthand, they were deeply moved by the resilience and strength of those they met.
In response, they committed to improving each household through the My Guardian Foundation. Work is already underway to repair and restore homes, including fixing damaged roofs and replacing unsafe flooring. These improvements address immediate safety needs while restoring dignity, comfort, and security to families who have endured difficult living conditions.
This hands-on approach reflects Jad and Diala’s belief that everyone deserves a safe and stable home—a foundation for building hope and confidence.
